La industria de restaurantes crea anualmente más de 62,000 empleos directos y 40,000 indirectos. Con más de 4,500 establecimientos comerciales, entre éstos, 1,300 restaurantes de servicio rápido, 350 “casual & fine dining restaurants” y más de 2,800 cafeterías, panaderías y fondas. Al momento somos el empleador privado más grande de Puerto Rico y la actividad económica que generamos aporta cerca de $3.9 billones anuales a la economía de nuestra Isla, lo que representa un 6.5% del producto nacional bruto.
